My mission for FireFlow Chess is to redefine your chess experience. I am committed to offering chess enthusiasts a collection of uniquely designed and visually stunning luxury chess tables that blend tradition with contemporary craftsmanship. I believe that each move on the chessboard is an artistic expression, and it's my mission to celebrate that artistry through meticulously crafted tables and curated chess sets.
Journey
FireFlow's journey began with a vision back in 2019, when I was an adjunct professor of mathematics. I had a side passion for resin and woodworking, and decided to turn this passion into a full-time endeavor, opening FireFlow Chess in July of 2020.
I started small, selling my creations on Facebook Marketplace and eventually establishing a shop on Etsy. My very first chess table––Harry Potter-themed––found its permanent home on August 26, 2020. Fast forward to today, and I'm proud to say that FireFlow Chess has surpassed 240 sales and received over 70 positive reviews with a monumental average item review of 5 out of 5 stars.
Unique, Luxury Chess Tables
What sets FireFlow Chess apart is the commitment to artistry and quality. Through countless hours of craftsmanship and fine-tuning, this artisan collection of chess tables is a testament to my passion for crafting unique, functional, and visually stunning chess sets.
FireFlow Chess specializes in crafting luxury chess tables that marry traditional woodworking with contemporary design elements, including epoxy resin and embedded LED lights. Priced in the range of $1,000 to $1,500, each piece is a work of art in its own right. The collection includes six main tables, with "The Rook (Black)" being the most popular. This table showcases black-stained poplar, and was first released in June of 2021. It has since been a best-selling table.
But offerings extend beyond stained poplar. FireFlow Chess also celebrates the natural beauty of hardwood species like oak, maple, dark walnut, and mahogany in tables like "The Bishop" and "The Rook (Walnut)."

From the inception of the business, I have aimed to minimize waste in the production process. Tables are meticulously engineered to use the exact length of available stock, reducing cut-offs and wasted wood. In previous designs, reclaimed wood was featured, further emphasizing a dedication to sustainability.
